… and just like that, another school year has come to an end.

It’s a season filled with mixed emotions. Pride as we watch our children finish another chapter, excitement for the adventures ahead, and perhaps a little relief that the school run can take a break for a while. Then, almost overnight, life shifts into summer mode.

For us, it also means the busiest time of the year.

The coffee machine barely gets a chance to rest at Fika, the beach trailer is in full swing, and every day is a whirlwind of early mornings, happy customers, sandy feet, ice-cold smoothies, coffees, brunches, laughter, and the wonderful chaos that summer always brings.

Some days are exhausting. There are long hours, endless lists, and moments where it feels like we’re constantly chasing the next job. But amongst all that chaos are so many little moments that remind us why we do what we do.

We’re incredibly grateful.

Grateful to every single person who chooses to support our small business. Grateful to our amazing team who work so hard behind the scenes. Grateful for sunny beach days, busy brunch services, familiar faces who visit us week after week, and new customers discovering us for the first time.

Whether you’re spending your summer exploring the town, heading to the beach with the family, grabbing a coffee before work, or treating yourself after a swim, we’re so thankful that you’ve made us part of your summer.

This year feels extra special because you can now find us in two beautiful locations.

If you’re staying local, we’ll be waiting to welcome you at Fika with all your favourite speciality coffees, homemade cakes, brunches and friendly faces.

If you’re heading for a day by the sea, you’ll find Nourish & Rise at Bantham Beach, serving fresh, healthy food, smoothies, and plenty of beachside goodness to keep you fuelled for your adventures.
