Well… where do I even start?! Summer has well and truly arrived, and it has been crazy, chaotic, exhausting and absolutely amazing all at the same time!

It’s been early starts and very late nights, constantly running between Fika and the beach, juggling the kids, work, food, coffee, staff, deliveries and everything else that comes with summer — and somehow we’re still standing! 

Fika has been absolutely buzzing, and seeing so many familiar faces, new faces and families coming through our doors has been incredible. Then it’s off to the beach, where the days are just as busy and we’re so lucky to be able to do what we love in such a beautiful place.

There have definitely been moments where I’ve thought, how on earth are we going to get through this summer?! But then I stop and realise just how lucky we are. Lucky to be busy. Lucky to have amazing customers. Lucky to have a team that works so hard. Lucky to have two little businesses that we’ve built with so much love.

And most of all, thank you.

Thank you for choosing Fika. Thank you for grabbing your morning coffee, stopping for brunch, picking up a cake, heading to the beach for lunch or simply popping in to say hello. Every visit, recommendation, review, share and bit of support means more than you probably realise.

So here’s to the rest of the summer — more early mornings, late nights, sandy feet, lots of coffee, plenty of cake and hopefully a little bit of sleep somewhere in between!
